Get the look - Ashley Olsen

Here's a favorite look of mine. Combining a casual cool hoodie with a luxe bag and second-skin leather skirt.

When it comes to style inspiration, I rarely look farther than the Olsen twins.

Coming up roses

If you know me, you may be aware of my love affair with roses. I love rose fragrances and love rose adornments even more. Whether a romantic pink or a lush crimson, you can never go wrong with roses.

In the last few years, the average number of roses sold in America is about 1.2 billion wich relays, per capita, 4.67 roses per person.

The products below are items I've used and love -Moroccan Rose Eau De Toilette, Rosebud Salve- or items I've seen and fallen for -the Valentino wallet-

The rose ring is the steal of the day for only $4.80 at Forever 21

Lust it

I've been working one a few pieces off the site so I haven't made any updates in the last two days. I'm currently working on a decent size article roughly titled Balmainia.
In the mean time, I've taken a break to bring you a collection of pieces revolving around a macabre mood that has slowly but powerfully settled over the fashion industry right now.
I couldn't be happier. I love this dark predisposition designers are pulling from right now. Here are a few of my favorite pieces. More to come.

Mary-Kate Olsen has been and probably forever will be my number one style crush. Her ability to channel elements like antique jewelry, unexpected layering and her use of luxury accessories rarely remains to surprise me yet never ceases to amaze.

Steal it

The first of many daily Steals to come.

A fantastic statement necklace for $17.50 from Forever 21

Gaila Floral Bib Necklace

Tip: When it comes to budget friendly trendy jewelry, the bane of my existence is a piece that tarnishes after one wear making the low price immediately reflect poor quality. One thing I've learned is to coat the "golden," and "silver," pieces with a thin layer of nail polish top coat. Most importantly, coat the area of the piece that makes the most contact with your skin that is most prone to wearing away the finish

How I would style it: Two great ways that I love to see a statement necklace styled are both minimalistic yet edgy. Combine the piece with a nude colored cashmere pull-over and distressed jeans or liquid leggings. Another great way is a simple t-shirt dress in heather gray or light brown, bare legs and a platform bootie.
