Off the runway

Alexander Wang continues to dazzle me. This dress stomped the Fall '09 runway, combining a chic silhouette with a rock'n'roll vibe.

Another fantastic detail that I always love to see is a moderately revealing, sexy sheath with long sleeves.

Stella McCartney Chain-detail Hobo

Meeting the hard-edged trend of this past season and of the current, this faux-leather hobo manages to combine a trendy bag with one of longevity.
Stella McCartney, known for her animal-friendly fashion, attempts making man-made leather into a luxe accessory.
Includes a matching detachable zippered pouch.
My personal take on this piece isn't sending me running to pick one up.
To me, nothing feels better than a butter soft leather bag with that gorgeous smell of cow-hyde.

How I would style it:
Pair it with a tissue-thin white t-shirt tucked into skin tight distressed jeans. Arm load of rock'n'roll bracelets and a fist full of mismatched rings and a staggering leather ankle boot.
